  Here I have created a brief gannt chart to show what tasks need to be completed and who would take charge over those tasks. I will evaluate the accuracy to which I followed this gantt chart weekly and add that to my final evaluation at the end of this project. This not only helps me know what needs to be done and when it is scheduled to  be completed by, but it also allows me to evaluate my time management skills and consistently make changes to better my work ethic and use my time as wisely as possible. 

 Client brief and the purpose given to achieve: Fruit Bowl Tech is a start up tech communications company operating from Milton Keynes (UK). Their  function is the production of mobile and desktop apps that allow business clients along with friends and family to share, explore and converse remotely as though they are together in the same room. Whilst they were originally aimed at the tech and business sector, they wish to appeal to families and friends. They wish to be perceived as friendly approachable and essential. They have a new product they are wishing to release; a mobile and web based app that allows global collaboration and communication, allowing for people to communicate with family members from anywhere, the app also can be used to discover new relatives and as a whole works as a modern, interactive family tree. Nintendo Switch: Two brothers AD  The purpose of this advertisement is to promote the Nintendo Switch gaming console. It does this by suggesting the idea that nintendo brings people together, even two brothers who never get along and using nostalgia to appeal to older generations. It does this through use of sound, camera and lighting, shot types, editing and misce-en-scene. Genre tropes: how are they/aren't followed Within this advertisement, nintendo, along with many other console brands, use subtle references to games and owned and created by them,so as to show their products. Nintendo puts heavy emphasis on nostalgia and how their past products effected their target audience reminding them that their products have been accepted well from their beginning. Gender Dysphoria   Evaluation This video was particularly challenging for me to make due to multiple reasons; The current circumstances (lockdown) made it impossible for me to use in person actors other than myself, so I had to improvise, being the sole actor and choosing to convey certain messages, such as not being accepted by peers, in different creative ways. I did this by sending out a message to as many people as I could with a brief script of things I wished for them to say and send an audio clip of to me. This proved very effective for me and I really liked the emphasis that it put on the theme of mental instability. However, to improve this and the audio of the video as a whole in the future, I would gather a larger variety of audio clips to use rather than using the same ones as much as I did to keep the viewer engaged.  To further improve, I would invest in a higher quality camera in the future as the video quality was not great and quite pixelated as a result of po...

  Jaques Lacan Key words/Phrases to focus attention on when filming: -Lack of fulfilment -Mirror My main idea My idea is to convey body dysphoria that is experienced by a transgender person. This links to Lacans theory because my characters fantasy of what they wish they could look like feels un-achievable, and due to this they will always feel a lack of fulfilment. I will be conveying this by starting with multiple different shots of the protagonist still looking feminine, wearing makeup and a dress, I will use a variety of shot types to convey their discomfort as the video continues. The protagonist will be shown distressed and taking their make up off, making their hair more "boyish" and changing into less feminine clothes. Even after this character has shown themselves attempting to appear more masculine, they will be shown to feel a lack of fulfilment through showing their maladaptive habits such as smoking and drinking.   Transformers: In this scene from transformers, Megan Fox is shown as the woman subject to the male gaze this is shown through a mix of the camera slow panning across her body and the way the male is looking lustfully at her. This is not relevant to the story line and if the male gaze wasn't present, she may have just had a look at the cars engine and left it at that. These kind of shot types are only used to exhibit the traditionally beautiful girls to objectify them and allow the male audience to find pleasure in viewing her as an errotic object. This proves that the male gaze theory still holds some truth nowadays.
