Evaluation of editing

 To begin with, I was tasked with critically reviewing the development of editing technology. I believe, that whilst I did this within my post called "The development of editing technology", if i was given the chance to re-do this post now after developing knowledge on the topic, I would add a section for each heading suggesting potential pros and cons for each one as well as giving and example where they were used and how it changed the production. Even so, I find my post on the development of editing technology to be informative and gives the knowledge required. My Film Plan

  Jaques Lacan Key words/Phrases to focus attention on when filming: -Lack of fulfilment -Mirror My main idea My idea is to convey body dysphoria that is experienced by a transgender person. This links to Lacans theory because my characters fantasy of what they wish they could look like feels un-achievable, and due to this they will always feel a lack of fulfilment. I will be conveying this by starting with multiple different shots of the protagonist still looking feminine, wearing makeup and a dress, I will use a variety of shot types to convey their discomfort as the video continues. The protagonist will be shown distressed and taking their make up off, making their hair more "boyish" and changing into less feminine clothes. Even after this character has shown themselves attempting to appear more masculine, they will be shown to feel a lack of fulfilment through showing their maladaptive habits such as smoking and drinking. Shot list/location scouting

 Location scouting: Due to the amount of visibly different shots I want, I ideally wish to film in three main locations with at least two different areas in each location I can film in. Nuneaton-Stockingford recreational park Pros: - There are 5 separate areas to film in - Really close to my house so can go home to change equipment incase of any accidents - Public area, free to film in Cons: - Often litter dotted about and can be dangerous due to glass - Often people in all areas potentially worth filming in - Can be dangerous place  I have decided to use this as one of my filming locations because it is a large open space, conviniently located and has a variety of feature that could be useful towards my video.
